When i stayed in SF, I had a nice room with a view on the top floor of the Clift Hotel. Too good to be true. Unfortunately, I did not have a single chance to admire the view during daylight. So I asked Google, and it did a good job for me.
By night (ok, sunrise), and then virtually generated by Google. Booah, wait a minute, this is the backdoor to many weird thoughts, it’s frightening what Google can do. No need to move any longer. Virtual reality is getting so close to… reality? My answer is no, it will never completely.
After writing that “Stockholm doesn’t like street art“, i need to mention that Sao Paulo doesn’t either, and they really have a good reason not to. The “Pixo”, a new form of grafitti, black, ugly, iliterate, is really a scary thing for the Paulistas. Look at this video.
Thx to Damien for the info
Last week-end was my 7th year in Stockholm after 10 in Berlin. I didn’t celebrate last week that because i completely forgot about it, just thought about it like 30 seconds ago. But the fact that i forgot it is a celebration, and a great one! If you want to know why, ask me, i’ll tell you why!
Due to datacenter temperature issues beyond our control Last.fm is currently offline.
First time i read something like this. Sounds a bit like we’ll hear this more in the future when i think about global warming issues!

Bestshop Berlin macht dicht. Traurig aber wahr:dear customers, designers, friends and partners!

The museum exhibition SONIC YOUTH ETC. : SENSATIONAL FIX focuses on the multidisciplinary activities of Sonic Youth since the band’s formation in 1981. It features the band’s collaborations with visual artists, filmmakers, designers and musicians, as well as a choice of other works selected by the band. Through the multidisciplinary output of Sonic Youth and related works by other artists in the exhibition, an alternative history of contemporary culture is being uncovered in which the division between ‘high art’ and ‘low art’ is being called into question, while issues are explored such as teenage rebellion, adolescent wanderlust, gender, fame, fashion, sexuality, and religion. The exhibition is initiated and curated by freelance curator Roland Groenenboom in collaboration with the band and will be presented in Bolzano, Italy (from 10 October 2008 to 4 January 2009), and Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, Germany (31 January to 26 April 2009). Next up are The Museum of Malmö, Sweden (from May 29 to September 20 2009) and Centro Huarte de Arte Contemporaneo, Navarra/Nafarroa, Spain (October 2009 to January 2010). Further venues are currently in discussion, in Europe, the US and Asia. A complete description of the show can be found here.

I need to be honest. Since i started to use Twitter (here i am), i lost the energy to update Berlin Kollektiv. The reasons are very simple:
- I have never been good at writing long stories, i prefer to be brief, especially in english, though rather in 140 characters. And when you have 3 kids at home, you rather be fast.
- Twitter is image free, no work to upload pics. Just copy and paste a link.
- Twitter is easy to use from an iPhone. Ok, the WP App is fine, but not as fine as Twitterfon for example.
- Twitter is more spontaneous than a blog.
- Twitter is fast, you get so much input for so few output.
Too bad, but i guess it’s just a matter of time until i get back to my old habits: search, find, tell stories. The blog will survive!
